NetCracker Technology Corp., a large software development company and one of the world’s most respected TOMS Solutions (Telecommunications Operations and Management Solutions) companies, has an opening for:

Technical Manager (Solution Delivery)

Responsibilities:

  • Fully responsible for solution delivery (implementation on-time, within scope, according to resource, with expected quality level) to QA team and, then, to Customer;
    • Direct participation in Design
    • Ensure customer requirements are achieved in a timely fashion and within budget guidelines;
    • Plans and organizes work, coordinating and owning activities with Development staff in geographically distributed teams starting from 20+ engineers, integration partners and Customer staff ;
    • Assigns individual responsibilities, provides project leadership;
    • Responsible for the overall Development activities planning, identifying resources, and developing timelines;
    • Integration of all parts of the solutions, coordination of all development streams
    • Management of defects resolution
  • In addition to that - Actively participates in requirements gathering process; Lead one or more technical streams as a Stream Lead (thru all phases Analysis-Design-Implementation-Testing-Acceptance)
  • Leads work teams of various sizes on engagements; plans and organizes the work for the team; determines, tracks, and reports on priorities and project status;
  • Travel to customer sites worldwide (up to 50% of time)

Education:

  • High Technical Degree;

Experience:

  • Minimum of 8 years of application software implementation experience and expertise in applying technology solutions to meet customer needs;
  • Experience in at least two of the following areas
    • CRM (sales and marketing automation);
    • eCommerce;
    • Order Management;
    • Billing;
    • OSS;
    • Data Migration
  • Telecommunications experience (Fixed, Mobile Voice, Data/IP.. services) as well as BSS/OSS applications;
  • Experience in managing of different scale projects in geographically distributed setup;
  • Excellent knowledge of delivery project lifecycle;
  • Demonstrated experience and relevant expertise in the design and building of distributed and enterprise solutions;
  • Knowledge of service providers networking is a big plus;
  • Architect experience is a big plus;
  • Detailed experience with project management methodologies like ISO or CMMI and PMP and associated tools is a plus;

Skills:

  • Business-like presence and ability to interact professionally with Customers;
  • Excellent communication and team building abilities;
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities such as conflict/issue resolution;
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) effectively with stakeholders; and senior business leadership of departments and agencies participating in this project;
  • Requirements gathering methodology, software development methodology;
  • At least Intermediate English language;
  • Strong results oriented with analytical and interpersonal skills;
  • Pro-active approach;
  • Solid understanding of the business software solutions architecture;
