Job Description

We are looking for a person with some system administration experience, who is keen on different Hardware and IT technologies. And comfortable with the following job scope:

• Provide technical support to customers during the whole product life cycle: pre-production and post-launch support on CPUs, GPUs, Servers, Client systems, Networking and Storage.
• Reproduce customers’ problems in lab environment and work to find a solution
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions on performance, firmware, drivers, technical documentation, etc

• Participate in trainings for customers on new technologies, products and features

Working in our team is a great opportunity to develop your skills in hardware and firmware and learn how to troubleshoot any kind of issues up to OS/Application level. In addition to that you can get deep technical knowledge about computer architecture.

Qualifications

• PC hardware familiarity: motherboard components, CPU features, CPU architecture

• Familiarity with desktop and server operating systems (Windows, Linux)

• Understanding OS structure, differences. Practical skills of installing and configuring different OSes

• Ability to build and debug typical PC or Server hardware, install operating systems including both Microsoft Windows and various distributions of Linux

• Basic understanding of network technologies, protocols, topologies (TCP/IP stack, OSI model).

• Technical English

Additional skills may require:

• Ability to quickly learn new products and technologies

• Microsoft Windows / Linux Operating System administration

• Practical skills of network design or configuration

• Experience in system/network administration and hardware assembling

• Hardware design experience (schematics / layout / BOM list)
